How to request deletion

| Identify | Include the email address used for your Unpolished Diamonds account and any connected Google sign-in email if different. |
| Verify | We may ask for identity verification before deleting account or mentorship data. |
| Process | We delete or de-identify eligible account, profile, mentorship, program, support, and OAuth-related records. |
| Confirm | We send confirmation when deletion is complete or explain any data retained for legal, security, billing, audit, or safeguarding reasons. |
Timeline
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days and complete eligible deletion within 30 days after identity verification. Complex legal, safeguarding, billing, or security cases may take longer, and we will explain the reason when possible.
What is deleted
- Account profile details and login records that are eligible for deletion.
- Diamond Profile content, goals, reflections, and growth evidence tied to the user where deletion is allowed.
- Mentorship requests, Action Stones, program participation records, and support records where deletion is allowed.
- Google sign-in identifiers and basic Google profile data stored for account authentication, where applicable.
- Non-essential cookie preference data stored in the browser can be cleared by the user at any time.
What may be retained
Some information may be retained or de-identified where required for legal compliance, security investigations, billing records, audit logs, dispute handling, safeguarding concerns, fraud prevention, backup expiry, or legitimate operational records.
Sponsor and organization reports may retain aggregated or anonymized cohort information that no longer identifies the deleted user.
Google and Meta review clarity
- This page is public and does not require login.
- Google users can revoke app access from their Google Account permissions page and also request deletion here.
- Meta reviewers can use this URL as the app data deletion instructions route.
- The current public app does not load Meta Pixel, Meta Login, WhatsApp APIs, or Facebook APIs.
Confirmation process
After processing, we send a confirmation email to the verified requester. If we cannot fully delete some records, we explain the retained categories and the reason in plain language where legally and operationally possible.
